Little White Lindos

One of the most beautiful places to visit in Rhodes is Lindos, everyone recommends it. And after my visit I do to! The city is so quaint and traditional, I loved it there.

Cars aren't allowed into the main town area so you have to park at the top of the hill and walk down. But once you real the bottom you are rewarded with an amazing view. The small white houses of lindos look so beautiful in contrast to the green hills and the acropolis ruins that stand at the top of the hill.

The town is paired together with this amazing cove, with a beautiful white sandy beach and crystal clear waters.

The main church in Lindos with an open bell tower.

These mosaic pebbles are everywhere in Rhodes and soooo beautiful, I want to transport them home with me!

Lindos is filled with tiny little alleys all containing cute little stores and unique fish spas. I even found a wedding planner and saw people getting married. A really ideal place!

As Lindos is set on a pretty steep hill, it is traditional to take a donkey to get up to the top of the hill where the acropolis is found.

The top of the hill offers amazing views, both of the sea and this historical acropolis. You cannot visit Greece without seeing this.

A tradtional church in Lindos.

It is a truely amazing city, even my bf loved it and he hates sightseeing! You have to visit!

  2. I am Greek and I am so moved by your photos and words of Rhodes..I have not been there but having been to many other Greek islands, especially the ones in the Aegean like Mykonos, Tinos, Paros (the Cyclades), I know the beauty and traditions and right now I am so proud to be Greek. All our islands with their white and blue churches, and narrow streets with tavernas and local shops with handmade jewellery, little places like creperies and boulangeries...our gorgeous turquoise seas and golden sands...absolutely enchanting. Visit Greece this summer, everyone, you won't regret it...! xxxx
